Flying out over the Southern Ocean in a helicopter is a great experience, especially when you are hovering over the Twelve Apostles, the major tourist attraction along the Great Ocean Road.
You can see the sandstone rock stacks from the shore, but getting a bird’s eye view is just magic.
The hellicopter service takes off just behind the information centre. There are a number of flight options and you can pre-book your flight or just turn up and hope.

An easy 24 km drive from Hobart, Richmond is a town that is rich in history. Boasting Australia’s oldest remaining Catholic church, St. John’s, built in 1836, the oldest goal that’s still intact, and the oldest bridge that’s still in use.

Serra San Bruno is high up in the mountains of Southern Italy. You get there on a twisting road that snakes up through the highland forests.
Trees hang over the road to create a tunnel that filters the sun and cools the air. Snow signs warn that, in winter, this could be a more tortuous trail.

Considered to be the spiritual home of Sufism, Nefta in the South-West of Tunisia near the Algerian border is also home to 350,000 date palms.

Halong Bay is a beautiful bay in Northern Vietnam about 100 kms from Ho Chi Min City. There are over 1,600 islands in the bay and almost as many cruise boats offering a wide variety of experiences.
As you cruise through the bay in one of the famous ‘junk boats,’ you’ll pass by countless towering limestone rock formations surrounding the luxury cruise ship. The bay was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994 and is today one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Vietnam.
